Round Dining Tables

I am a fan of a round dining table. I like the look of it and I like sitting at it. Conversation is easier, you can see everyone around the table, it just works.
Not every dining room can handle a round table. Size and shape matter. If the room is long and narrow a round table isn’t going to work. A space that is square or close to it is ideal.

A beautiful skirted table and wonderful window treatments reaching for the ceiling.

I love the painted wall panels.

A great mix of painted and stained wood furniture.

And yes, you can use a rectangle rug under a round table. The size, scale and proportion of the space will determine the size and shape of the rug.

When it comes to a round dining table, a center base is more convenient that trying to navigate chairs around table legs.
Happy Dining.
