My post today is about a client’s house that is a work in progress. It is a beautiful home, a mix of traditional and modern, highlighted by a wonderful collection of art.
Window treatments were installed in the office this week. They are made from a combination of exquisite silks. The main fabric is Scalamandre’s Shangri-la in Amsterdam Blue. The border fabric is Clarence House’s Raj Silk in Black Cherry.
In the living room chairs have been recovered in amazing fabrics. My client purchased the French Wing Chair from Restoration Hardware. The fabric chosen to recover the chair is an exuberant cotton print from Quadrille.
The fabric on the desk chair is Clarence House’s Spring Garden. Which is a white on tan crewel embroidery. Love it.
There will be future posts about the interiors of this amazing home.
